Your Experts
Mercedes Barrachina is an SAP security innovation lead at IBM’s SAP Center of Competence in Europe, where she works at the intersection of enterprise technology and emerging innovation. She holds a BSc and MSc in telecommunications engineering from the University of Malaga, completed her master’s thesis at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and holds a BSc and PhD in economics. Mercedes has pursued advanced studies in data science and machine learning at the University of California, Berkeley, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the IE Business School, and has published research in national and international journals on the application of machine learning techniques to biosignal analysis. Her academic rigor, combined with her hands-on experience in SAP innovation, makes her well suited to guide SAP professionals through the practical realities of implementing AI in enterprise environments.
