Karl Liebstückel
Prof. Dr. Karl Liebstückel is a professor of information management and business software at the Technical University Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany. He has more than 35 years of experience in SAP plant maintenance. Over the course of his career, Karl Liebstückel has gained extensive practical experience in close to 100 plant maintenance projects. He was a member of the executive board of the German SAP User Group (DSAG) from 2003 to 2012 and chairman from 2007 to 2012. Furthermore, he presided over DSAG’s Plant Management and Service Management work group from 2001 to 2008. Previously, he worked at SAP AG for 13 years in the areas of development, consulting, and training for plant maintenance and service management (last two positions held prior to leaving SAP AG: platinum consultant and global product manager).
Prof. Dr. Liebstückel owns a consulting firm. He has written several books on the topic of logistics.
