Christopher Aron is vice president, go-to-market and a leading expert for SAP Business Technology Platform (previously known as SAP Cloud Platform) and has been nurturing and growing SAP Integration Suite’s market adoption for the past five years. Chris has more than 20 years of technology and telecommunication product marketing experience. He received his master’s degree in business administration from Webster University (USA) and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Birmingham City University (UK). Chris holds three US patents from his work in Internet of Things with PassTime.

Day-to-day, Chris works across regions and industries with customers, system integrators, and technology partners to evangelize and improve SAP’s broad range of capabilities. Internally, Chris works closely with local sales teams on key deal revenue support and with product teams for roadmap prioritization, launching new capabilities and long-term strategies. Chris leads additional efforts to help align internal and external perspectives, for example leading multiple customer councils designed to optimize product feedback and ultimately aid customer adoption. Chris has often featured as a keynote executive for external events around the world. Originally from England, Chris is currently based in Denver, Colorado.

Piyush Gakhar

Piyush Gakhar is director of product management for SAP Integration Suite and leads a team of integration product managers. He has more than 15 years of experience in technology across various roles, including product management, business strategy, consulting, and pre-sales.

Piyush received his master’s degree in computer applications and contributed to several successful internal and external projects, working closely with customers, partners, and key stakeholders. He is responsible for the product design, strategy, roadmap, and go-to market for SAP Business Technology Platform services. Piyush has represented SAP in multiple global platforms/conferences and led key strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Shilpa Vij

Shilpa Vij is a senior product manager for SAP Integration Suite. She started her professional journey at Tata Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd as a C++ developer. She received her bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering in 2007 and then worked towards being a business analyst, pursuing her passion for client interfacing and consultancy roles. Shilpa has worked at SAP Labs India for more than a decade, where she has been a seasoned cloud engineering expert, program lead, product expert, and now works as a product manager.

At SAP, she is dedicated to and contributes to product and customer success. Day-to-day, Shilpa works globally across industries with customers and integration experts for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and defining the product vision. She also works closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction. She provides enablement sessions and expert-level workshops in the areas of SAP Integration Suite. Currently, her area of interest lies in discovering and projecting product management as an art. She is a co-author of SAP API Management from SAP PRESS.
