If you read though this book, you will get a gist of what SAP upgrade is.
But one thing I do not feel confortable is
that it seems the Author/translator is quite proud of this book having richer(?) vocabularies rather than its contents.
I would say "make it easier not to stop reading it".

This is the best book for the Upgrade process: ABAP, Java, BW, NW, CRM, SRM, Unicode...

This is a very good book with very rich technical details on the topics related to SAP upgrades. It would be a good reference book for an experienced consultant and a good guide for a junior consultant doing upgrade for the first time. It also covers the topic of Unicode Conversion to a certain extent. At the time of publishing this was the best book on technical upgrade. This book needs to be updated with Enhancement Packages info, though.
