  1. Detail explanation with little practical relevance

Posted by Sylvester on May 31st, 2013

I bought this book to help me improve my knowlege and usage of the SAP Financial modules. The layout and explanations are quite detailed. However, unlike other SAP Press books that I have read, this neither contains navigational direction nor transaction codes to the system screen shots contained in the book.
The practical relevance of the book is grossly weakened by this omssion. Knowledge of SAP system becomes meaningful when one can execute business transactions unguided.
I simply regret buying this particular book.

Editor's Note: This is a good time to remind readers that that books in our "Discover" series provide those new to the corresponding subject area with a highly detailed overview. They are explicitly designed to be introductory resources, with no "hands-on" aspect.
